A lifelong Chicagoan who has lived in many of its communities, Margot grew up in Beverly. She studied marketing at Columbia College, residing in Bridgeport just a short distance from the home ballpark of the Chicago White Sox. Her degree program coupled with the real estate license she earned led her to Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. (ATG). This preeminent lawyer service organization provides its members quality legal assistance with real estate transactions such as title insurance and estate planning. Margot helped oversee sales and marketing at ATG, during which time she lived on Chicago’s northwest side in Logan Square.

She joined The Sheahan Group at CONLON/Christie’s in 2014. Today Margot not only works closely with founder Tim Sheahan as his assistant, but she also leverages her background to support the entire team, which boasts particular expertise in new construction. Without question, she has played a pivotal role in the more than $850 million in transactions The Sheahan Group has skillfully executed even as she credits Tim and her team members for spurring her own professional success. Both she and her colleagues firmly believe in exceeding rather than simply meeting clients’ expectations, a testament to their can-do spirit and tireless work ethic.
In addition to volunteering with her children’s parent-teacher association, Margot’s love of exploring new restaurants makes her an official foodie. Located in Beverly, her home reflects her unique style, which she describes as vintage class meets modern-day cool. Take, for instance, her reupholstered 1960s sofas and repurposed furnishings. Like her design aesthetic, Margot’s approach to her career reflects an ability to draw inspiration from what may appear pedestrian to the average eye. This is because she views each day as a learning opportunity just like she considers serving each client an honor, and this positive outlook precedes her reputation as a standout among Chicago Realtors.
